The Turkish Journal of Water Science and Management (TJWSM) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal aiming to publish original research in the field of water science and management in English. As the General Directorate of Water Management of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, we aim to provide continuous access to accurate, reliable, and universal information needed for education, research, and public service related to water management. In line with our publication policy, TJWSM aspires to become a reputable scientific journal that is indexed and cited at both national and international levels. From 2017 to 2023, TJWSM was issued twice a year; starting in 2026, it transitioned to a continuous publication model.
The journal covers a wide range of topics related to water science and management, including water resources and allocation, watershed management, water efficiency, water quality and monitoring, water chemistry, water and wastewater treatment, aquatic ecology, water modeling, climate change, engineering structures, hydraulics and hydrology, water law and policies, as well as flood, urban runoff, and drought management.
